total of 145 athletes from the six Gulf countries: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia,
Bahrain, Qatar, Sultanate of Oman and United Arab Emirates participated in the

impairment: 25 athletes.- Cerebral Palsy: 49
athletes.
- Locomotor disability: 71
athletes.
A new world record of 7.15 m was achieved in the

The Games were organized by the UAE federation for Sports for the
disabled. His Highness Dr. Sultan ben Mohammad Al-Qasemi , Governor of Sharjah
attended the opening ceremony.
